Free How to Repurpose Wood Pallets into Garden Planters Workshop on April 21 at the Garden Grove ReStore
Workshop is part of Earth Day weekend celebration
Santa Ana, Calif., April 11, 2013 – In celebration of the greenest weekend of the year, the Habitat ReStore OC Home Improvement Resale Outlet, 12827 Harbor Blvd, Garden Grove, is hosting a free workshop on How to Repurpose Wood Pallets into Garden Planters on Sunday April 21, 2013, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Don’t miss this interactive workshop where you will learn how to safely and environmentally craft garden planters using wood pallets found in the ReStores. The workshop is free and open to the public.
The workshop instructors will be Natalie & Jeremy of The Sunshine Grove in Anaheim. They love vintage, reclaimed wood, and they also enjoy farming in their raised bed gardens. By using reclaimed wood, Jeremy’s designs limit the impact on the environment. It’s all about taking a piece of used wood with the character it has accumulated, sanding it, shaping it and treating it to give new purpose, and enjoying it in new ways. The only limit is the imagination.
